Mahendra Singh's early career
In the year 1998, Dhoni used to play only school and club level cricket, when he was selected to play in the Central Coalfields Limited team. At the same time, former President of Bihar Cricket Association, Deval Sahai was greatly impressed by Dhoni's cricket game and he gave Dhoni the opportunity to play in first-class cricket.
